Many of the peer specialties of the Head and Neck region have come to recognize this fledgling of yore as a mature and modern science. |
| Though considerable work has been done in the western world to give this science a name, very little progress has been made in our country specifically in other institutions allowing this speciality. We have endeavored single mindedly with persistent commitment to make the spectrum of work in this speciality a reality.. |
| The path taken was never laid with roses but drew many a criticism and discouragement. However, as is commonly said, "Deeds speak more than words" our achievements will tell the tale. It is the contention of the present faculty to continue to make advances with out deterrents and make it a role model and a center of excellence in this and other allied specialties.

| At the present time our aim is to cater to the needs of the poor and underprivileged where our Maxillofacial surgery plays a major role in involving itself in a wide spectrum of services which includes trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, tumor surgery, cleft lip and palate work, major ablative surgery for cancer as well as facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. We sincerely hope to render the best of our services in this region making it one of the referral centers of repute for Maxillofacial Reconstructive Surgery. |
